About SIWE
Founded in 2007, the Southern Indiana Wind Ensemble provides a performing outlet for 50 highly accomplished wind players and percussionists from the Bloomington and surrounding areas. Our repertoire draws on the very best music from the concert repertoire for winds and percussion. Our rehearsal/concert season runs from October through May.

 May 20, The Colors of the Winds
7:00 p.m., Sherwood Oaks Christian Church. A colorful program featuring music by Scott Boerma, Frank Ticheli, Michael Gandolfi, Roger Cichy, Aaron Copland, and others. Featuring guest conductor Stephen Pratt, IU Director of Bands, and trumpet soloist John Rommel, IU Professor of Trumpet.
